1. Only 4x4s and certain AWDs are allowed to participate due the nature of terrain.
2. Total trip would be around 3500 km, hence all the drivers to ensure their cars pre-checked and be in perfect condition.
3. UAE residents don’t need visa to enter Oman, as long as the UAE visa validity is 3 months, and passport validity is 6 months before the trip.
4. UAE tourists have to apply online Oman visa. Always better to apply in advance and NOT to apply at the border.
5. If the car is on loan, you need prior NOC from the bank.
6. Insurance covering Oman is mandatory
7. The drivers of the 4×4 is required to possess a valid UAE driver’s license, and all occupants—driver, passengers, and vehicle—must be covered by suitable insurance.
8. All occupants, including the driver and passengers, are expected to have acknowledged and understood Torque Converter’s disclaimer. This disclaimer absolves all Officials and Marshals of Torque Converter from any liability, placing full responsibility on the participants for any potential property damage, bodily harm, or fatality during their involvement in this adventure sport.
9. It is mandatory for the driver and all passengers to wear seat belts at all times. Should there be any children accompanying the drive, they must be safely secured in an appropriate car seat or booster seat suitable for their age.
10. It’s a family event, hence more & more families are encouraged to join in.
11. A temporary WhatsApp group will be made for all the confirmed participants. And all the drive-related information will be shared there.

1. 21Aug/Fri: Leave Dubai by 3pm and reach Nizwa/Oman. Break night in hotel.
2. 22Aug/Salalah: Leave Nizwa to Salalah.
3. 22 – 27Aug: In Salalah.
4. 27Aug/Thursday: Salalah to Dubai.
